?Chapter 1251:
After saying that, Charles raised the knife. It sliced through the air in a sharp arc.
Niks’ eyes widened in horror. In that instant, he saw the raw ambition burning in Charles’ gaze.
He was shocked to realize his brother harbored such a fierce desire to fight for the family fortune—and he hadn’t even noticed.
The knife descended. Niks and Charles locked into a fierce struggle, while Kohen stood frozen, utterly dumbfounded. He never imagined Charles would be so resolute.
Clenching his fists, Kohen turned to Dani, adrenaline pumping through his veins. “Do I still have a chance?”
Niks felt like the world hadpletely lost its mind.
Pinned to the floor, helpless, he watched as his two brothers attacked him. Had Dani not intervened at thest moment, reminding them to keep violence out of her office, Niks feared he might have been killed.
Sirens wailed as the ambnce arrived.
Niksy bleeding on the floor, staring up at his brothers—faces sttered with his blood, eyes cold and indifferent, not even sparing him a nce.
Closing his eyes, Niks realized the war for the family fortune had officially begun.
While Carol wiped the blood from the pristine office floor, Dani’s phone rang.
“Are you going too far?” Hamilton’s cold voice cut through the silence. “No matter what happens, you cannot harm my sons. I heard Niks lost a lot of blood. Dani, you’ve gone too far!”
Dani’s lips curled into a faint smile. Standing by the office window, she gazed down at the bustling street below, where people hurried by.
She replied coldly, “Consider this my gift to you—and I’ll say it only once. Stay away from Cedric. Don’t think I’m unaware of the private jet you’ve arranged to sneak him out early. If I leave and find Cedric is already gone, I swear your three sons won’t live to see another day.”
????????’?? ?????? ??????????: ???????????ν??????????????
Her tone was light, but the menace behind her words was unmistakable.
She added lightly, “You have five sons, Hamilton. If they all die, do you really think the family fortune will end up in Cedric’s hands?”
Silence lingered on the other side of the phone as Hamilton processed Dani’s words.
Eventually, a soft chuckle escaped him. “To think that the founder of Elite Lux, once considered the wealthiest person globally, could still impress me—remarkable indeed.”
Understanding often required no exnation; the wise grasped it quickly. Dani was ready to reveal her intentions.
She trusted that Hamilton would not harm Cedric. However, Hamilton could not offer any assurance that his children were safe from Dani. A fearsome mercenary leader, Dani had no personal interest in his sons. If she chose to kill them, he would be powerless to stop her.
Holding the phone, Dani continued, “Mr. McCoy, it’s time the younger generation took over. The future belongs to them.”
