    Caiden’s lips tightened in annoyance. “Elite Lux is on the brink of copse. Issuing such a statement would serve no purpose now. Make the payment, and I’ll hand over the contract and clear out the premises immediately. Mr. Bradley, I’m offering this at an unprecedentedly low price. If you hesitate, I’ll have to find other buyers quickly. This is a rare opportunity—if you’re not interested, let’s not waste time.”


    The buyer quickly responded, “That’s not what I meant. You know how daunting Dani can be. If she’s still alive and I acquire her property, I’ll have no chance in the corporate world.”


    Dani had a reputation for being formidable. She rarely spoke, but her decisive actions had driven many to the brink of financial ruin.


    Just three years ago, themerce association held nearly monopolistic power across the nation. Yet, in front of Dani, it was insignificant. She could dismantle it with terrifying ease.


    The buyer could not afford to take risks. “Are you certain she’s really dead? Trim the price a little more, and I’ll finalize the deal right now.”


    Caiden inhaled sharply. “Don’t push your luck!”


    “Just shave off a bit more, and I’ll settle the payment instantly. You and I both know you didn’t see eye to eye with Dani. If Cedric decides to challenge thister, it could get messy. Lower it just a tad more, and once the funds are secured, you won’t have any worries, right?”


    Caiden scoffed. “Cedric? He doesn’t intimidate me in the slightest. He’s incapacitated. How could he possibly challenge me? Moreover, he and Dani had no children. What im could he have over her estate? He failed to safeguard his wife and child. Does he really have the gall to fight over her inheritance? That’s absolutely ludicrous!”


    The buyer clenched his jaw, his anger evident at Caiden’s remarks. “Fine, let’s get the contract done now. Butter, you’re going to have to clear out everyone from Elite Lux.”

    The tension peaked.


    At Elite Lux’s grand entrance, a long bench had been set up, where Caiden and the buyer took their seats, surrounded by over a hundred media reporters. It looked like a massive press conference.


    Caiden was thoroughly impressed by Joyce’s efforts. “Remarkable. You managed to draw such a crowd. The Baldnia News, no less—the top name in journalism here. You’ve got some serious clout.”


    Joyce was puzzled by the turnout. She hadn’t invited this many media reporters. Lacking significant influence, she had only been able to contact a handful of lesser-known publications. The presence of so many reporters was certainly not her doing.


    Caiden, shing a radiant smile, grabbed a microphone and energetically announced to the assembled crowd, “Everyone, I appreciate each of you joining us today for the monumental sale of the Elite Lux building. As Dani’s father and the rightful heir, I’m here to transfer the ownership of the building to Mr. Bradley. I’m confident that Mr. Bradley will thrive in his new venture here!” Caiden had a knack for weaving ttering praises into his speech.
