Chapter 1442: Ending 2: Supreme Self_2
The mes to the right of the front were empty.
In thest cycle, the “Sacred Fire” that appeared had a lever on its right side to reset the Inner Cosmos, but there was nothing on its left.
What does this imply?
“Hmph,” Nnd Lee scoffed at himself,
“It means that I’m so bewildered by this annoying illusion that I even have to scrutinize such trivial details.”
Nnd Lee raised his hand to p his face, trying to sober up and not to overthink things.
...
He approached the mes again and pressed his right hand onto it.
“Bang—”
In the crisp rebound sound, Nnd Lee’s body was flung back to where he came from.
After a short time, he returned to the side of the Magic Hut, witnessing the trembling of the stars.
Following that, he opened his eyes and saw the Assassin Angel and a clone of “Command” standing beside him.
Their conversation was exactly the same as the previous two cycles, but Nnd Lee did not feel the joy he had in the previous cycles.
He stood up calmly and dusted off his Magic Robe.
“Boom, boom, boom—” The ongoing battles around the Angel’s Voice Space Station sent rumbles that transformed into vibrations of the metal wall and an irritating bass sound.
Seeing that Nnd Lee appeared rxed, not disturbed by illusions, the Assassin Angel urged him:
“Since you’re all right, let’s hurry and leave.”
After speaking, the Assassin Angel drew a ribbon of mist from the purple fog around her body, intending to take Nnd Lee away as she had in the previous cycles.
However, Nnd Lee swiftly dodged.
He smiled at the Assassin Angel and “Command” who were looking at him:
“You go ahead. I’ll clean up the ritual materials. Don’t worry, I’m aware that ‘Space Erasure’ could descend at any moment. I’ll make a quick exit.”
While talking, Nnd Lee summoned a magic puppet to tidy up the ritual array set for rescuing the Assassin Angel.
The Assassin Angel stared at Nnd Lee for two seconds, retracted the ribbon, and then threw out a Purple Mist Amulet:
“I know, through my clone, that you’ve made a lot of effort to rescue me. Take this; it can protect you. I will stay on the ‘Command’s’osphere.”
Perhaps Nnd Lee’s behavior this time around was a bit odd, which also made the Assassin Angel’s tone somewhat stiff.
After throwing the Purple Mist Amulet, she transformed into a fast-moving mist arrow and disappeared within the Grand Hall of the core of consciousness.
The Order ne’s Core nodded at Nnd Lee, dissolved its clone on the spot, and retreated from the vicinity of the core of consciousness.
Nnd Lee had given the magic puppet themand to clean up the scene on its own and moved in front of the core of consciousness, his gaze lingering on this extraordinary thing that had plunged him into illusions.
“If I smash this thing, could I break free from the illusions? Even if I don’t destroy itpletely, just damaging a part should shake the illusions, right?”
Nnd Lee shook his head as he pondered:
“No, no, that’s unlikely. This core of consciousness in front of me must be created by the illusions. Damaging it would only yield Passive Deconstruction Results under illusions, unable to shatter the basis of the illusion.”
Speaking of Passive Deconstruction Results, Nnd Lee remembered something.
In the second cycle, he was reduced to ashes by the mes spewed from the Sacred Fire.
Logically, he should have triggered Passive Deconstruction then.
But after flipping through the Deconstruction information several times, Nnd Lee discovered something baffling.
There were no Passive Deconstruction Results.
The Deconstruction Results when reduced to ashes by the Sacred Fire in thest cycle did not appear.
Neither did the Passive Deconstruction Results triggered when he was killed by the Void Spears in the cycle before that.
On reflection, Nnd Lee realized that in thest cycle, as soon as he woke up, he overlooked checking the Deconstruction Results when killed by the Void Spears and couldn’t even remember if that information had ever appeared in the Deconstruction column.
Nnd Lee narrowed his eyes, sensing the simtion limit of the “Illusion Space” in the depths of his mind.
Assuming he wasn’t wrong, Illusion Space could only simte Deconstruction Results that were below the level of Angels.
In other words, when Nnd Lee was attacked by beings of Angelic stature or above, Illusion Space, due to its inability to simte Passive Deconstruction Results, would make him intentionally overlook checking the Deconstruction information.
When Nnd attacked beings of Angelic stature or higher, the situation was the same. The Illusion Space couldn’t provide Deconstruction Results and would intentionally make Nnd Lee overlook the Deconstruction information.
Only in this way could Illusion Space keep Nnd Lee in the dark and trapped in illusions cycle after cycle.
Nnd Lee clenched his fists, his eyes fixed on the knuckles, his gaze intense.
Passive Deconstruction was the breakthrough!
He was determined to use Passive Deconstruction to break the Illusion Space!
“Bang! Bang! Bang!”
One punch after another, Nnd Lee strengthened his fists with magic, mming them into the core of consciousness, a surge of heat swirling in his chest.
Just as aputer might crash from running too many memory-intensive programs, illusions could also possibly copse from forcibly simting the un-simtable!
Isn’t Illusion Space unable to simte the Deconstruction Results of Angelic stature?
Alright then.
Nnd Lee would forcibly damage things of Angelic stature, or be severely injured by things of Angelic stature, followed by forcing himself to check the Deconstruction information.
If he could use this method to cause the Illusion Space to copse, he would be hugely sessful!
“Bang bang bang!” Punch after punch, each hit filled with lightning, mes, or strong acid, but still unable to shake the core of consciousness by even a bit.
Seeing this, Nnd Lee wasn’t discouraged. He stepped back and withdrew his fists, stabilizing his breath.
