?Chapter 1129: 349. To perform one’s duty with utmost dedication
Nnd Lee listened to the words of the Assassin Angel, raising his head to look at Denise Green who was enchanting his Mechanos.
Nnd Lee’s gaze grewplicated, causing a look of mild perplexity on Denise’s face.
“What’s up?” Denise lifted her pale right hand and waved it in front of Nnd Lee.
Returning to the present, Nnd Lee smiled,
“Nothing, just thinking about some stuff.”
“Okay, okay.” Denise nodded slightly, continuing to etch illusion runes onto the Mechanos with her Rune Staff. <div>
...
In his mind, Nnd Lee asked,
“Your Excellency, what is the origin of ‘Lamp of Resurrection,’ the subject lectured by Professor Denise? She seems to know what will happen if she enters the Mass Wizard Tombs, and she always refuses to ascend to a Star Witch.”
The Assassin Angel replied,
“Those with a Sub-Dimensional ne have mostly established contact with the ne’s Core behind the scenes, and they have some understanding of the truth behind Mass Wizard Tombs and Star Witches. As for who the ne Core behind ‘Lamp of Resurrection’ is…”
The Assassin Angel disyed an extremely rare moment of hesitation.
Nnd Lee’s eyebrows raised.
He hadn’t expected that asking about the origin of the ‘Lamp of Resurrection’ would inadvertently send the Assassin Angel into deep thought.
Could it be that the Lecturer Professor has an extraordinary background?
“I can think of a few answers, but I cannot be sure,” the Assassin Angel said,
“If you could meet her in person, I might be able to distinguish her true nature.”
Nnd Lee nodded silently,
“Understood, Your Excellency. I will find an opportunity.”
Nnd Lee looked down at the Mechanos in his hand and asked,
“Now that we’ve discovered the key clue of the Pure Light Court coborating with the Metal Ancestor Dragon, do we continue with the previous n?”
“Continue,” said the Assassin Angel,
“However, this time, after we lure Jay Spade out alone, there are some other things to do. I n to nt a marker on him protected by the ‘Veil of The World’ to eavesdrop on the secrets of the Pure Light Court.”
Nnd Lee’s eyes lit up.
This was exactly what he’d been wanting to do but hadn’t managed to achieve.
This was much more convenient than using the Deconstruction Technique to look for Light Wizards to deconstruct over and over again.
With his current rtionship with the Assassin Angel, if thetter knew any important information, they would surely be willing to share it with him, which meant he was effectively monitoring every move of the Pure Light Court.
The Assassin Angel’s actions were exactly to Nnd Lee’s liking.
“My power within the Inner Cosmos is very limited,” the Assassin Angel said,
“To maintain the marker on Jay Spade and keep it hidden from the Pure Light Court and the Metal Ancestor Dragon, my power will be diminished.”
Diminished… Nnd Lee didn’t quite understand what “diminished” meant for an entity like the Assassin Angel.
But after another thought, Nnd Lee’s imagination took flight!
“Your Excellency, if the Angel Enterprises Alliance were to open an Outer Space Gap in the Inner Cosmos, could you take the opportunity to replenish some of your power?”
The Assassin Angel seemed somewhat astonished, falling silent for quite some time.
From their perspective, they always prided themselves as defenders of the order of the Supreme Star Pce.
Since the Star God had set the rule that extraordinary beings from the Outer Space could not enter the Inner Cosmos, the Assassin Angel naturally regarded the proactive “invasion” of the Inner Cosmos as a taboo.
Their presence in the Inner Cosmos now waspletely idental, due to Nicolette, who had not been shackled by Mind Shackles.
Under normal circumstances, the Assassin Angel themselves would think of preventing forces from the Extraterrestrial Void from entering the Inner Cosmos—how could they then break this rule?
Right, that was the idea.
But!
It had to be said, Nnd Lee’s suggestion, although a bit unorthodox and a breach of the order, was such an effective solution to a practical problem.
So, the question was,
How tomunicate with the Angel Enterprises Alliance in the Inner Cosmos and ask them to open the Outer Space Gap?
One word, coboration from inside and outside.
First, one had to establish a ritual array within the Inner Cosmos capable of reaching the Angel Enterprises Alliance, only then could one call to the party far beyond the ck Hole.
Did Nnd Lee have the blueprints for the ritual array?
No.
But the Assassin Angel or the Golden Federation likely had them.
Having secured the ritual array, the next step of “enticing” the Angel Enterprise Alliance to respond to the array’s call would naturally follow.
In other words, as long as the Assassin Angel agreed, this matter was as good as done.
Nnd Lee couldn’t help feeling a myriad of emotions.
Someone like himself, who had been going back and forth closing Pollution Zones, was now thinking of opening his own Pollution Zone.
Truly, the times have changed, err, rather, it was about following the current trend.
“Your proposal seems feasible,” the Assassin Angel mused,
“I wouldn’t even need to create an actual Pollution Zone, just a small gap in the Outer Space would suffice to draw power from my main body within the Main Brain Controller.”
The Assassin Angel fell silent again, as if caught in an intense internal struggle.
Having acted once to open an Outer Space Gap and benefit from it, one would feel a strong temptation.
If they couldn’t control the desire for power from their main body, there’d be no difference between the Assassin Angel, priding themselves as defenders of order, and the Dragon n. Both would just be exploiting loopholes in the order of the Supreme Star Pce.
Now that the technical issues had been resolved, the Assassin Angel had to ovee his own mental obstacle before anything else; otherwise, all was moot.
Nnd Lee couldn’t offer much help, nor did he have any ce to instruct the other.
