Lean yet powerful muscle packed into ces that were once baby fat, lustrous, thick fur the color of snow, razor-sharp extendable ws, teeth big enough to rip chunks out of flesh like a shark, and a massive size upgrade, those were the physical changes cia had experienced.


    And yes, one of the first things Aoni checked was whether or not his floof could extend and retract her ws, something which, after ying with her paw, pressing on the pads until she reacted, he was able to train her how to do.


    Her once cute, tiny snout had extended out slightly, causing her chimpish features to change drastically more down the path of a pr bear than an ape species.


    Overall, she had merely aged up, grown slightly, and had her features mature, or at least on a surface level, that is.


    Apart from getting a new passive, one shared with Nyria, Artic Stamina, Aoni could feel the Energia circting through both his summons, so much so that he was able topletely understand that in a fight, as he was, there was ZERO chance he could take either of them head-on.

    Unsurprisingly, his words actually got through to the floof because before the Lad could take his next breath, cia dashed away and sat all proper…er…as proper as she was capable of, in front of him and a stunned Nyria.

    ''I think that worked…'' With a chee and cking sound from her beak, Nyria replied with a hint of nervousness in her voice, hopped to the side, and waited for her Lord to give themand.


    Whatmand, you may ask? Of course, it was the one to fetch cia''s bed; since she was leagues faster than him, it was a no-brainer that while Aoni would keep cia''s attention, it would be her job to fetch the bed.


    The two of them had discussed this situation multiple times, and no matter what scenario they came up with, it always ended with a hyper cia either flinging the bed around like a toy because she didn''t understand its purpose or diving face first and destroying it.


    Either option wasn''t exactly going to bode well because the instant the floof realized her little sister had a bed too and that it hadn''t been destroyed, well…one plus one = a depressed nestless Nyria.


    Ignoring his birb''s actions so as not to draw the floof''s attention to Nyria, Aoni scooted forward and sat in front of cia while speaking softly, "Now listen carefully, cia; you were a brave girl earlier, and now you need to be obedient too. I want you to close your eyes and keep them closed until you hear me tell you to open them, okay?"


    "Closee…open when I say to open; that way, you can get your reward, Closeeee…."

    "Gao gaoo, GAOOO! HuFF!" getting one more bap in on her Lord before turning to look at her little Sister, cia spoke something in hernguage, causing Aoni, who, still shocked at how ruthless his floof was acting, to look to the birb for answers.


    ''She says *she no baby, she gets it*….just like that,'' Nyria asked as she too looked on in surprise at the newfound intelligence of her sister.


    Mind you; even Nyria struggled a bit to understand what she was saying, considering it was broken and not really coherent; however, it was a far cry from what her conversations with the floof had been like some days ago.


    On an instinctual level, they were able to understand each other''s sounds and the cadences of their differentnguages, much like how if someone gestures a certain way, another person can follow along, but this time, there was literal meaning behind the Gaos, and not simple intent.


    From what Nyria could tell, the only difference between how she spoke to Aoni and her conversations with her big sister was the fact that cia still couldn''t use words properly or utilize the LoS in the way she did.


    "She WHAT NOW!" Looking between the haughty expression on his beloved floof''s face as she puffed out her chest to the stunned look in Nyria''s eyes, Aoni felt those tears that were triggered by getting bapped in the nose sting a bit more than they probably should.


    "They grow up so fast….*Sniffle*," wanting nothing more than to scoop up his floof and cuddle her the way he always did, Aoni inhaled deeply and leaned forward to hug cia…only to…

    "Gao, OoO GaOOOooOOOoo," Knowing that Nyria could act like a trantor of sorts, even though she didn''t fully understand the concept herself, cia, whose intelligence level was that of a 3-4-year-old child now, turned to look at her little sister while speaking for a second time.


    ''She wants to know why weird, act…uh…I think…'' Opening and closing her mouth a few times, Nyria did her best to decipher what was being said and trante it in a way that her Lord could understand.


    "My little cia has entered her rebellious phase already; my heart is breaking," taking note of what was said and reaching out to his LoS connection with the floof, Aoni instantly got an idea of her intelligence level, as now instead of vague shapes and colors, thoughts were beginning to form, much like what he understood happened with young children when they be cognizant of the world.
