"…you already ate…" staring at her with a calm expression, Aoni sighed before continuing to exin.
"Right now, the two of you are considered to have One-Star strength," drawing a star in his picture book, The Lad pointed at both his summons and then the picture.
"That means, by using my special ability, I can make you strong, all the way up to 2-Stars; not only that, but I can also make your special abilities, cia''s Artic Movement, and your Dynamic Vision, Nyria more powerful as well, as for what to call it…uh…how about we just call it Adding Points."

"Yep, adding points, so in the future, if you hear me say im Adding Points to something, that will be our code word for powering up. With that said, I expect you both will feel super sleepy once I finish, so don''t worry, and don''t panic; everything will be okay, I promise."
"Plus…" holding up a finger and shing a bright smile, Aoni dropped the metaphorical carrot in front of his adorable summons.
"If you two are brave Girls, I will have a reward prepared for you when you wake up."

cia and Nyria''s reactions to the word reward were contrasting, but that was mainly due to Nyria not understanding the concept and cia thinking it was merely something fun; after all, thest time Aoni gave her a so-called Reward, it was the snow shovel.
''Eh…why do I feel like a bad guy scamming children…'' Scratching the back of his head, while the Lad had an idea for how to reward the two, it involved a bit of preparation, so although he had made a promise to them both, much like his Mom used to when he would go to the doctor as a little kid, he knew it was going to take some effort on his part.
"Yep, Reward, it''s going to be something good too, now, cia, as the oldest, you are up first, soe here." ncing at his Summon''s Disy, Aoni knew the first thing he was going to need to upgrade was her Potential, and from there, it was just a matter of bringing everything else to 2-Star.
In the case of Nyria, he would need to burn a lot more points. Since she already had a 3-star potential, and her section of the Summon''s Disy indicated she had 3-Null-Stars in everything, it was more a matter of bringing them all up to 2-Stars than generating new ones, like with cia.
Following Aoni''s words, as she naturally knew he would never do something to hurt her, cia hopped into hisp and curled into a ball while looking up at him.
"That''s a good girl. As I said, it may be a bit ufortable, but you need to stay strong," Aoni said, giving her some cuddles, more to calm his nerves than hers, before taking a deep breath and speaking out the mentalmand.

Keeping a careful eye on cia, Aoni focused on any changes urring within his floof by way of his Energia Maniption in order to watch out for anything Strange, and sure enough, he witnessed something like small pulses of electricity coursing through his fingertips and into cia''s body.
''It''s like Energia, but different; this must be the physical Manifestation of Progress Points. I''ve sensed it before when upgrading the flume and my weapons, but since they aren''t living creatures, it''s different.''
''The closest thing I canpare it to is the theory of Absorbing Energia from a Crystal. To an extent, it''s like My Energia carries an extra radiation that is leaving my EC and flowing into her.''
There was no pressure falling from the sky, no heating up of her body, and apart from shivering for a second and burping, cia didn''t seem to be bothered at all.
''Then again, all I did was add her second star; there''s a difference between that and increasing its steps.''
"That''s the first part done; how do you feel?" petting her head, Aoni asked while examining her for any signs of pain or changes.
"…gao?" Shaking her body and standing up for a second, cia appeared to be searching for something, looking at her ws and then fur. However, aftering up empty, she simply looked back at Aoni with confused eyes.
"That''s fine. There is nothing to worry about; we are just getting started. Are you ready for the second one?"
"Gao Gao!" Holding up a paw, cia used the same cadence as when she said "Add Points" earlier, causing Aoni to smile and settle her down before upgrading her a second time.

Unlike when he had increased cia''s Potential, which showed no outward change, this time, a tremor ran the length of the floof''s body, and her hair stood on end like a panicked cat as the pulses of electricity grew in strength.
Seeing this, Aoni immediately began whispering to her that everything was okay while rhythmically running his hands through her fur.
"You''re okay, cia, you''re doing great,"
Hearing his calming voice, she looked up at him, and Aoni could see the fear hidden in her eyes because she was experiencing something new, something Strange.
From her perspective, a pulse had gone off in her chest, rumbling out from the core of her being and generating a ripple effect that ran the length of her skin. It was as if she randomly decided toy on top of a massive bass speaker, and for cia, it was scary.
