    Having removed the meat while allowing the thin stone bowl to heat up, Aoni ced his butterflied cut onto the searing hot stone, and a loud hissing sound emanated from it, followed by the fragrant scent of cooking meat.

    Feeling a strange presence beside him, Aoni noticed that cia had stood up on his shoulder and was watching the meat cook with such intensity that he believed if it suddenly vanished, she would never emotionally recover.

Flicking his eyes toward cia and seeing she was still immobile, Aoni swiftly sliced off two thumb-sized chunks of the tenderloin, causing the ball of fluff to flinch at the sudden attack on her food.


    "Rx, we are giving it a taste test; otherwise, how will we know if it''s good or not?"


    Instead of her usual response, cia bobbed her head up and down like a broken toy, then surprised Aoni with an open mouth and Gaoooooooo, finally getting the hang of saying ah.

    "OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!" cia''s eyes instantly turned into crescents as she enjoyed the vor and texture of the perfectly cooked piece of meat; however, being just a baby, the little yeti had no concept of savoring her food, and after a couple of seconds of chewing, she once again opened her mouth wide and said Gaoooo.


    "Sigh, fine, you can have mine too. I can''t wait to try it, but this is thest one till it''s done cooking," rolling his eyes and giving in to cia''s adorable act, Aoni offered up the second piece of cooked meat.     ''Why do I suddenly feel like I didn''t cut off enough meat to feed this glutton of mine,'' with a smirk, thed went back to work, tending to therge chunk of meat. Before long, the inside was the perfect mix of light brown and pink, so with arge ssh of golden blood and another pinch of salt, he seared both sides and moved the tenderloin out of the bowl and onto a clean b of wood.


    "Ow…ws…ws, cia," unfortunately, either because she didn''t understand he was going to cut it into small pieces for her or because she thought he might be taking the food away, cia unconsciously dug her ws into Aoni''s shoulder while leaning forward.


    Thankfully, she wasn''t digging them in deep enough to draw blood, but thed still found it ufortable while exining his actions to her.


    "I know you''re hungry, but let me cut it into smaller pieces for you first, then you can have it." Chiding his impatient baby yeti, like a parent would their child, Aoni slipped a finger under her ws and gently forced them up so they wouldn''t tear his jacket, followed by expertly dicing up the b of cooked tenderloin into manageable bite sizes for cia.


    "OoO." Of course, after tasting what she did earlier, how could the little ball of fluff be patient? I mean, THIS WAS GLORIOUS, FRESH COOKED MEAT!


    "Two minutes, that''s it." Stopping his dicing, Aoni looked at cia on his shoulder, held up two fingers, and chided, causing the baby yeti to look down sadly.


    "...gao…." Although she said that with a partial whimper, she understood the meaning behind two minutes, as Aoni frequently used it as a measurement of time.
