The robed fighter with Shadow Chains attempted to bind Fenix again, but Anya quickly deflected by creating a translucent Foxfire Shield that cut the chain midair.
The purplish robed guy cursed, falling back from her intimidating atmosphere. A glint of panic shed in his eyes; the so-called "weak link" they had meant to dismiss had just in one of their own and was now defending Fenix with deadly skill.
Amid swirling ash and flickering foxfire, the battlefield transformed into a chaotic dance of darkness and me. Old Yan shouted as he ordered, his toneced with impatience.
"Re-form ranks! Dark Wind, get behind them. Dark Earth, disrupt from below. Fire users, suppress them from the nks. I''ll handle the finishing blow." Old Yan called them out ording to their power since he didn''t even want to leak a tiny bit of information about them.

He then swept his arm in a broad arc, releasing Poison Mist that spread across the ground in sickly green wisps.
In response, Fenix quickly ignited a wall of me along the edge of his swords to burn away the toxins before they could enter his lungs, but the effort cost him valuable time and left him vulnerable on his left side.
One of the Fire attribute men noticed the gap and pounced, his de wrapped in ck-and-red mes, striking Fenix''s thigh.
Shing!
Sparks scattered as Fenix just barely managed to spin, but the strike still cut a line across his leg. The pain rushed through his leg, threatening to buckle it. Gasping, he forcibly steadied himself with Ember Veins, forcing more heat-fueled power into his limbs.
He pressed back, shing the attacker''s weapon with a ferocious overhead strike. Metal shrieked as the attacker''s de snapped beneath the persistent pressure of Fenix''s meced strike, and the guy stumbled aside, his eyes widening in surprise.
Meanwhile, Anya engaged the robed chain-wielder, who danced through the whirling shadows. He attempted to ensnare her in illusions created by mixing darkness with faint images of flickering ck shapes.
Because of her heightened senses, she saw through the illusions. Even without it, she would still be able to see through the illusions since she had a talent rted to illusion.
She then dashed forward and unleashed a Foxfire Explosion at his feet. The resulting detonation sent him upward, his chains pping aimlessly.
Before he couldnd, Anya soared high with a quick burst of speed, summoning a Foxfire de in her hand. She cut him across the back, resulting in him falling with a hoarse scream as he was severely injured.
Combat continued at a relentless pace. Old Yan, Fenix''s most formidable opponent, advanced once more. Green poison swirled around his knuckles, and his eyes shed with deadly power. "Time to put an end to this," he sneered.
He feinted left, then suddenly smashed Fenix''s ribs with a zing, poison-soaked fist. Fenix grunted, feeling something crack in his side. The pain was immense. Blood spattered his lips, but he refused to drop his swords. With a rush of energy, he rammed his shoulder into Old Yan''s chest, forcing him backward.
That small push provided Fenix the space he needed. He swung both swords in a cross pattern, igniting them with a powerful Burning sh.
The arcs of me zed outward, slicing through the air toward Old Yan. He managed to sidestep, though the edges of the mes scorched his clothes, and the ground at his feet erupted in molten g.
Panting, Fenix dropped to a knee for half a heartbeat, the agony in his ribs making it hard to breathe. ''What should I do?,'' he thought.
Despite several wounds on the enemy side, they remained five strong, and Fenix''s damaged status worried him more with each passing second.
Anya stood nearby, battered but still fighting with her triple stats. She eyed Fenix''s injuries, a flicker of concern shading her gaze. She could sense that he wouldn''tst long at this rate.
To the left, two men were regrouping, obviously the Fire and Earth duo. The Earth user mmed his palms to the ground, unching another set of spiked pirs that erupted in a wide radius around Fenix.
Meanwhile, the Fire user summoned ck embers, forming a swirling firewall that trapped Fenix in a ring of scorching darkness.
Anya attempted to intervene, but the chain-wielder had recovered enough to intercept her, unching a hail of shadowy links her way. She shed them apart with foxfire, but it slowed her approach.
Meanwhile, with half of his robe burned away, Old Yan cracked his knuckles, preparing to unleash a final blow.
Poison flowed about his hands, like live vipers. If Fenix was caught in another direct attack from him, the damage may be fatal even with his huge health stats.
Breathing raggedly, Fenix realized he had no choice but to gamble. He roared, summoning all of his Ember Veins and unleashing a wave of burning energy that caused the whirling firewall to withdraw for a brief while.
He then exploded into motion, dashing out of the ring of dark mes. At the same time, the Earth user''s spikes rose beneath him, grazing his calf and causing a minor cut. Blood sttered across the sharp stone, but he continued on, ignoring the scorching agony.
mes radiated from both his swords in blinding arcs as he unleashed rede Technique.
The Fire attribute foe lunged again, hoping to meet him head-on. Their weapons shed in a fierce, explosive collision of ck and red me.
Fenix used the force of impact to spin around, shing horizontally at the man''s midsection.
The de shed through armor, leaving a burning trail of burnt flesh. A howl of pain tore from the man''s throat, but before Fenix could finish him off, Old Yan appeared behind him.@@novelbin@@
Old Yan pped his hands together, creating a dome of Dark Poison energy that closed in on Fenix from all sides.
The air thickened with an acidic odor. Fenix coughed violently, and his vision blurred. Every breath was like swallowing pieces of ss.
Old Yan advanced with augh. "You put up a good fight," he confessed, his tone tinged with cruel pleasure. "But, as I already stated, numbers and synergy always ovee. This is your end."
