Chapter 320: Dragonite Vs Probopass II
"Dragonite, use Fire Punch!"
Relying on Dragonite''s incredible speed, Julian made the first move.
Dragonite''s seemingly bulky frame exploded with a speed that was nothing short of astonishing—earning it the nickname "the Yellow sh of the dragon world."
In the blink of an eye, Dragonite was right in front of Probopass. Its ming fist, radiating intense heat, came crashing down with immense force.
However, Probopass nimbly dodged backward. Despite its heavy-looking body, its electromaic levitation made it remarkably agile.
<em>Boom!!</em>
The <em>Fire Punch</em>struck the ground, causing mes to burst in all directions. A crater nearly 100 meters wide formed instantly.
"Probopass, Spark!"
Fred nced at the battlefield. This wasn''t just any arena—it was a national-level gym battlefield. Yet Dragonite''s single punch had left it in ruins.
The sheer power of that punch would have been more than enough to injure Probopass.
<em>''The younger generation these days is truly remarkable''</em>Fred thought with a sigh.
Electric currents began surging over Probopass, golden arcs of lightning snaking around like tiny thunder serpents, moving with incredible speed.
<em>Spark</em>had the chance to cause paralysis, and when used against Julian, that chance was nearly guaranteed.
Dragonite countered by exhaling a <em>Dragon Breath</em>. The two attacks collided fiercely, their energies shing and exploding with a series of violent bursts.
Amidst the chaos, Dragonite pped its wings and soared into the sky. Meanwhile, Probopass used its electromaic force to float into the air as well. The Mini-Noses around it darted toward Dragonite, nking it from behind and both sides.
With a furious roar from Probopass, massive boulders the size of trucks appeared above Dragonite, poised to crash down.
Dragonite tried to dodge, but the three Mini-Noses relentlessly clung to it, holding it in ce.
The boulders above were already falling.
"Mega Punch! Smash through it!"
Dragonite''s eyes narrowed. Its fist, shrouded in a blinding white light, struck the falling rocks with immense power. The boulders shattered, but in the process, the Mini-Nosesunched a counterattack.
The three Mini-Noses mmed into Dragonite''s belly, sending its massive body hurtling several hundred meters away.
But it wasn''t over yet. Probopass fired a <em>Power Gem</em>at the airborne Dragonite.
At the same time, the three Mini-Noses began spinning rapidly, bining the energies of ice, fire, and electricity. It was none other than <em>Tri Attack</em>.
This wasn''t a one-on-one battle—it was practically a one-on-four.
The <em>Power Gem</em>struck Dragonite first, followed by the devastating <em>Tri Attack</em>.
In an instant, thick smoke enveloped Dragonite, obscuring itpletely.
"I told you," sneered Ethan. "There''s no way he''s a match for Grandpa."
"Big Sis, has Dragonite already lost?"
"Probably"
Everyone present—over a dozen spectators—agreed that Dragonite couldn''t possibly have withstood such a powerful assault.
"Dragon Rush"
Julian said calmly.
In a situation like this, unless <em>Protect</em>was used, Dragonite truly had no way to evade the attacks. But it wasn''t time for <em>Protect</em>yet, so Julian chose to let Dragonite endure the onught.
With Dragonite''s formidable base stats, even a peak Elite Probopass couldn''t bring it down in just two moves.
From within the thick smoke, Dragonite emerged, shrouded in violent Dragon-type energy and trailing wisps of ck smoke. It looked like a raging torrent, unstoppable and wild.
First, it struck down the three Mini-Noses, sending them tumbling, before surging toward Probopass with unrelenting force.
The Dragon energy around Dragonite grew even more ferocious as it closed the distance.
"Giga Impact!"
Fred observed Dragonite''s unbridled aura. Under this intense pressure, Probopass could attempt to dodge, but if it failed, it would be forced into a disadvantageous position.
As a Rock- and Steel-type Pokémon, Probopass''s greatest strength was its defense—its rock-hard body was its ultimate weapon.
In physical shes, Probopass had never backed down.
Above the battlefield, a green streak of light collided with a white streak, resembling two high-speed trains smashing into each other. The resulting boom was deafening.
Shockwaves rippled outward like des, cutting through the air and causing the battlefield below to sink under the sheer force.
<strong><em>Boom! Boom! Boom!</em></strong>
The battlefield''s protective barrier trembled violently, rippling with wave after wave of energy from the collision.
The two attacks shed fiercely, their energies grinding against each other. Sparks of electricity crackled at the center of the impact. For over ten seconds, neither <em>Dragon Rush</em>nor <em>Giga Impact</em>gave way. Both Pokémon poured their energy into the struggle until the sh finally exhausted both moves.
But at some point, the three Mini-Noses had already positioned themselves behind Dragonite.
The Mini-Noses were under Probopass''s control, so even if they were knocked down earlier, they could still continue fighting as long as Probopass remained active.
Behind Dragonite, the three Mini-Noses hadpleted their <em>Tri Attack</em>.
"Fire st!" Julian shouted.
"Dodge it!"
Probopass quickly descended, but Dragonite''s speed was unmatched. The <em>Tri Attack</em>missed its mark, and Dragonite was already face-to-face with Probopass.
At a range of less than ten meters, Dragonite unleashed an intense, zing <em>Fire st</em>in the shape of arge "X."
The searing mes engulfed Probopass, sting it into the ground.
The impact shook the entire battlefield as Probopass crashed into the earth, while fierce mes erupted across the scorched terrain.
With Probopass buried in the ground, the battlefield trembled violently.
"Earthquake!"
Julian seized the perfect opportunity—such a chance couldn''t go to waste.
<em>Rumble!</em>
As Dragonitended, the entire battlefield began to shake violently. Massive cracks spread outward from Dragonite''s position, and from those main fissures, countless smaller fractures spiderwebbed across the arena.
With a single <em>Earthquake</em>, nearly half the field was reduced to rubble.
Dragonite: <em>''Let''s see if you can survive this''</em>
Ground-type moves were devastating against Probopass, dealing 4x damage.
However, the Probopass lying in the crater suddenly disintegrated into countless fragments, vanishing into thin air.
Julian''s expression shifted slightly. "A Substitute?"
"Dragonite!"
Before Julian could say more, Dragonite, witnessing this unexpected turn, had already realized the danger. It quickly attempted to leave its position, but it was just a moment toote.@@novelbin@@
A massive stone pir erupted from beneath Dragonite, mming into its stomach.
Stomach: <em>''Why is it always me who gets hurt''</em>
Under the huge impact, Dragonite wasunched high into the air.
At that moment, Probopass reappeared above Dragonite, with the three Mini-Noses reattached to its body.
The Mini-Noses couldn''t stay away for long. The maic force binding them to Probopass was finite, and if it dissipated, Probopass would lose control over them.
Julian couldn''t help but acknowledge the skill of a National Gym Leader. The battle experience Probopass''s trainer disyed had clearly put both him and Dragonite in a tough spot.
Even so, defeating Dragonite wouldn''t be that simple.
Their earlier use of <em>Substitute</em>had been brilliant, but it had also cost Probopass 1/4 of its health.
"Probopass, Rock Smash!"
"Dragonite, Protect!"
