Tessa raised the file folder in her hand and said calmly, "Miss, I''m here on official business. It''s not what you think it is."


    Maisy scoffed, her expressionced with disdain.


    "If it''s official, why didn''t you make an appointment? Don''t try to fool me. I know all the tricks. Holding a file to make it look like business? That one''s been used to death."


    Tessa finally understood. Clearly, many women had tried using the "business excuse" to see Stephen. It was no wonder the receptionist was on high alert.
