    “Come in,” Colton said from within.

    “Colton, I need to talk to you about something.”

    “Colton, we haven’t had a proper conversation in ages. Are you going to treat me like this forever? Don’t forget I’m pregnant now. If something happens to the baby…”


    Although clearly impatient, Colton leaned back in his chair and asked coldly, “What do you want?”


    “Colton, don’t treat me like an enemy. I’m not here to make a fuss.” Mny reached into her pocket and retrieved a photo she had saved.


    “I heard that Fabian Morgan, the CEO of Ar?me Tower, ising to Ontdale. He’ll be hosting a birthday party in a few days.”


    “I have a friend who’s willing to pass along his invitation since he can’t make it,” Mny remarked, handing her phone over.


    She made no mention of Hoyt.
