Chapter 1102

    ?Chapter 1102:

Now, though, Ken’s face showed no signs of struggle; he appeared calm and collected.

In truth, he was barely holding back from being overwhelmed by a flood of emotions.

    Allison.

    Her name filled his thoughts.

Right now, everyone in the room, except for Ken, waspletely engrossed in Abram’s work.

“As you’d expect from a seasoned designer, his method is straightforward, and every detail is carefully nned.”

“Yes, Abram should be wrapping up soon.”

“Ms. rke is moving at such a slow pace. Her ideas are all over the ce. I still can’t figure out what she’s trying to make.”

To them, it was clear that Abram was the more talented one.

Allison, however, was hard to understand. For example, even though she had a pair of shoes partly done on her workbench, she suddenly began sketching a new design. Then, she grabbed a piece of ck ribbon and walked over to Ken.

“Would you like to take a random cut at this?”

“Me? Cut it?” Ken raised his eyebrows, surprised.

Allison gave a smile. “Art thrives on spontaneity.”

For a brief moment, her smile made her eyes sparkle, as if they were filled with countless stars.

It made Ken think of an old saying.

Artists have their muses—the ones they admire, remember, and immortalize through their craft.

At that instant, all Ken wanted was to remember her like this.

He could be her sword, or the spark behind her art.

“Alright,” he replied, his voice a little rough as his Adam’s apple shifted.

When Ken finished, he watched as Allison worked the ck ribbon into her design.

A smile tugged at his lips without him even noticing. It was a feeling of anticipation.

It was also pure, simple joy.

The frustration he had felt earlier with Colton faded awaypletely.

Twenty minutester, Abram was the first to ring the bell.

Ding! The sound marked the end of his work.

Everyone looked toward the noise and saw a pair of white high heels with shorter heels.

The shoes had silver-white satin wings on the sides, and delicate feathers wrapped around the ankles.
