Chapter 102

Lucas nced at the broken diamond bracelet and turned his cold gaze toward Noelle. "Are you satisfied now?"

Noelle responded casually, "I gave Xenia all of the jewelry she''s wearing now. If they''re broken, then so be it. Lucas, why are you being so petty?"

"This is different!" Lucas retorted. "Noelle, since you refuse to admit it, let''s check the security footage. We''ll see how you''ll exin yourself then!"

Xenia felt a surge of anxiety. "Lucas, it''s fine. There''s no need to make a scene."

Frank frowned. "Lucas, Xenia already said she tripped on her own. Just take her to the hospital."

Lucas was determined to get to the truth. The more he saw Noelle acting like she didn''t care, the more he wanted her to back down. "No! I''ll get to the bottom of this!"

Frank instinctively looked at Noelle. "Noelle, what exactly happened earlier?"

He couldn''t help but wonder if Noelle was really the one behind this.

Noelle looked at him and said, "It doesn''t matter. If you want to check the footage, go ahead."

Soon, hotel staff brought over the surveince footage. Lucas grabbed the tablet eagerly. "Here''s the truth."

Even without the footage, he was already sure that Noelle was responsible. The footage showed Xenia stepping on Noelle''s skirt, but Noelle quickly moved aside. Xenia lost her bnce and fell as a result. Noelle calmly nced at the video. "So?"

Frank watched the footage, then looked coldly at Lucas. "Did you see that? It has nothing to do with Noelle! Xenia tripped on her own."

Lucas watched the footage, too, and saw that it indeed looked like an ident.

His face burned with embarrassment, but he stubbornly insisted, "Noelle must have heard Xeniaing. She shouldn''t have moved out of the way. If she hadn''t, Xenia wouldn''t have fallen!" Everyone in the room was stunned. How could anyone make such a bizarre statement?

Frank snapped, "Lucas, are you out of your mind?"

Noelle poured her drink right into Lucas''s face.

Lucas shouted, "Noelle, what are you doing?"

Before he could react, Noelle threw the cup at him. This time, Lucas managed to dodge it, and the cup hit Xenia instead.

Noelle sneered, "Lucas, why did you dodge? Didn''t you know that Xenia would get hit? How selfish of you!"

Lucas stomped his feet in frustration. "Noelle, you''re framing me!"

Noellezily lifted her gaze and scoffed. "I''m just giving you a taste of your own medicine."

Rachel called him out, "That''s not right! You just said Noelle shouldn''t move out of the way, but when it''s your turn, you dodged so quickly!"

Michael added, "It''s clear that Xenia

Rachel nodded in agreement. "Xenia should be the one apologizing!"

They wondered how the Liddells could be so blind to something so obvious.

Frank turned to Xenia. "Why did you step on Noelle''s skirt in the first ce?" Something about this situation didn''t add up.

Xenia realized her n was unraveling. She bit her lip and tried to y the victim. "I was just trying to catch up with Noelle, and identally stepped on her dress. I swear, it wasn''t intentional

Lucas defended her. "I knew Xenia didn''t do it on purpose, but Noelle purposely made sure Xenia got hurt."

Noelle''s eyes held a mocking glint. "I''m used to it by now. This is how it always goes."

Frank felt an increasing sense of guilt. He stapped Lucas across the face and firmly said, "Lucas, I''m ordering you to apologize to Noelle right now!"

Lucas was shocked by the p. "Frank, this is Noelle''s fault!"

He couldn''t understand why he was the one being pped.
