Chapter 574

Noelle nodded in response. She also felt that it would be better to exin everything clearly.

Raymond stood up after her and said, "Let''s go there together then. I''ve also gotten a part-time job at the gym."

Noelle knew that Raymond came from an average family. Other than training at the base, he would usually be working part-time to earn for his living expenses. The two of them then headed to the gym across the campus.

Noelle put on a change of clothes and headed straight to the boxing area, only to find Raymond organizing the equipment there.

She was a little surprised. "Why are you here?"

"I work part-time here. I picked up some basics when I previously worked part- time at another gym, so the coach here asked me to teach some sses," Raymond replied.

He then noticed the pair of red boxing gloves in her hands and continued, "I know this brand. This must''ve been expensive!"

Red seemed to be the most popr color that year, and the boxing gloves sold out as soon as they were avable on the market.

Noelle nced at the boxing gloves. They were a gift from Cedric. Her expression turned stiff. "Since we''re here, let''s spar."

She hade to the gym on a whim and did not schedule a session with her coach.

Raymond guided Noelle through some warm-up stretches to rx her body before putting on boxing gloves to begin their sparring.

After they exchanged a few blows with each other, he paused and said, "You''re way better than I am. How long have you been doing this?"

    "About two months," Noelle replied.

"That means that you''ve got the talent for this! Not everyone can just pick up boxing. It''s a sport that requires attention to a lot of details. It means that whoever was teaching you must be really good at it."

Noelle thought of Cedric, as he had been the one teaching her about boxing. Her expression turned rtively cold. "Let''s continue."

At that moment, she was thinking only about Cedric and nothing else. During their spar, Noelle eventually became distracted and stopped paying attention to Raymond''s movements. She ended up taking a punch from him.

Noelle cried out and fell to the ground, her head spinning.

Raymond was startled. He did not expect Noelle to miss the block. "Noelle, are you okay? I didn''t mean to hit you!"

"It''s not your fault, Raymond. I just wasn''t paying attention." Noelle knew that the mistake was hers, that she had gotten hurt because she got lost in thought and failed to react in time.

She forced herself back up, and Raymond supported her by the shoulders. "Let''s take a break at the side."

Cedric walked over just in time to see Noelle being supported by a young stranger. His expression darkened instantly. "Stop it! What are you two doing?!"

His expression was ice cold as he strode up to them. Noelle turned to look at Cedric and saw that his face waspletely sunken.

Her head was still spinning from the

blow, and just as she was about to exin the situation, Cedric

    suddenly threw a punch at

    Raymond. Raymond was naturally

not a match for Cedric. He was sent stumbling into the railing before being bounced back in ce.

Cedric grabbed Raymond by the cor and said, "Get lost."

Raymond wiped the blood dripping from his nose and replied, "Who do you think you are?!"

Cedric took a look into Raymond''s eyes and instantly knew that Raymond had his sights on Noelle. He felt a surge of anger spreading through his chest as he raised his fist to deliver another punch.

But this time, Noelle stopped him. She forced herself to intervene despite feeling

unwell. "Cedric, stop! Why are you hitting him?"

Cedric froze up for a moment before turning to look at her. "This guy was putting

his hands all over you, and you''re still defending him?"

    "He didn''t."

"I saw it with my own eyes!" He was furious. "Noelle, I thought that you had ignored me for the past few days because I didn''t reply to your messages in time. But it''s because of him, isn''t it?"

Noelle froze up as she realized what he was trying to say. She replied with disbelief. "Are you saying that I cheated on you?"

As far as she was concerned, he was the one who cheated on her.
