Chapter 412

ke had always believed Noelle could be disciplined. Just like when they were kids, one beating was all it took to make her behave.

He stopped and squatted in front of Noelle. "See? I warned you several times not to provoke me, but you just wouldn''t listen. Now you know it hurts, don''t you?"

Covering her face, Noelle remained sobbing softly.

A smirk curled at ke''s lips as he uttered in a gentle voice, "Don''t cry. I was just giving you a lesson. I won''t actually beat you to death; you''re my only little sister, after all."

Suddenly, Noelle moved her hands away to reveal no streaks of tears on her face. She looked up at ke and shed a bright, almost dazzling smile.

The moment ke saw that smile, a chill crept up his spine. An ominous feeling struck him. He frowned and snapped, "What are you smiling at? Haven''t you had enough beating?"

Just then, Xenia scrambled up the stairs, panting heavily. "ke, she took a video! She recorded everything!"

ke''s expression changed drastically. His eyes darted to Noelle, and he immediately reached for the tiny camera hidden in her cor to yank it off and stomp it into pieces.

Her pupils were tinged with red as he gritted his teeth. "How dare you set me up! Are you courting death!"

Noelle shoved his hand away. "Nope, you''re now the one who''s doomed, not me." "Ha. I destroyed the video you recorded. What else can you use to threaten me?" Calming down, ke crushed the device under his foot once more and bent over to search for the memory card.

Xenia was on the verge of tears. "She''s streaming live, ke! A lot of people saw it already!" It was toote to destroy the footage.

"What? A livestream?" ke''s face turned deathly pale. How was that possible? He grabbed his phone, only to find a dozen missed calls from his manager. Among them was a message warning him Noelle was streaming live.

But he''d put his phone on silent so he could teach Noelle a proper lesson. He hadn''t received the notifications.

His hands trembled violently as a wave of sheer terror crashed over him. Given Noelle''s fanbase, if it was a live stream, the video would have probably spread all over the Inte by now.

Cold sweat started drenching his back. Never in his life had he been this scared. He was done for. Given how much he knew about the entertainment industry, a scandal like this promised the death of his career.

Noelle slowly pushed herself up from the ground. As she moved, pain shot through her arm and made her inhale sharply. She''d taken a few real hits to make her act more convincing.

But thanks to Cedric''s self-defense techniques, she knew how to protect herself and minimize the damage in situations like this. She looked up at ke, who was drenched in cold sweat. "How was my acting?"

"Are you insane! Ruining me won''t do you any good!" ke''s voice was hoarse and trembling.

Xenia rushed over and added to the usation, "ke treated you so well, Noelle. He''s protected you since you were young, and is this how you repay his kindness? By destroying his career?"

If ke lost everything, all the resources he promised her would disappear, too. How dare Noelle livestream everything!

Noelle looked at the two, whopletely broke theirposure andughed out loud. "Since you think he''s treated me well, Xenia, why don''t you take a few hits and see how it feels?"

Xenia immediately shrank back. "I always behaved."

ke took a step toward Noelle, and his eyes were bloodshot with fury. "This is the second time, Noelle. You almost got me killed once when we were kids, and now you''re trying to ruin me again."

"Second time? Tell me, when was the first time?" Noelle frowned. She refused to be wrongfully used.
