Chapter 257

Noelle thought for a moment before looking at Alfred. "How long have I been unconscious?"

"One day. The ident happened yesterday."

"Then the Liddell family should have seen the video by now!"

Noelle wanted to ask Frank for the video evidence back. She pulled out her phone

and dialed Frank''s number, but it went unanswered.

What was going on? Why wasn''t he picking up?

Not ready to give up, she dialed again, and this time the call connected.

But to her surprise, it was Xenia''s voice on the other end. "Hello, Noelle, what do you want with Frank?"

"Why is his phone with you?"

"Isn''t it because of what you said? It made him so angry he fainted and ended up in the hospital. He hasn''t woken up yet."

Noelle''s voice turned icy. "Did the USB drive fall into your hands? Did you team up with the Merlock family to steal theputer?"

"What USB drive? Whatputer? I don''t know what you''re talking about. I''m hanging up now."

Xenia ended the call, a sly smile ying at the corner of her lips. Even if Noelle figured it out now, it wouldn''t matter. The video was long gone.

However, as Xenia turned away, she saw that Frank had already regained consciousness.

She froze, her smile faltering. "Frank, when did you wake up?"

"When you denied taking the USB drive."

Frank was in a hospital gown, and his voice was cold as he demanded, "Where''s the USB drive?"

"Frank, can''t you forgive me this time? I was the one who saved you when you fainted on the street!" Xenia persisted, still hoping to sway him.

"Give me the USB drive, and then I''ll consider it."

"No, you''d just show it to Donovan and the others, right?"

Frank''s expression darkened. "If you''re innocent, why are you afraid of Donovan knowing?"

"Frank, my dad saved Noelle''s life. He died when he went back to rescue your parents. You can''t do this to me!"

"Without your father, you wouldn''t have even had the chance to join the Liddell family. Give me the USB drive now."

Xenia realized that no matter how much she yed the victim, Frank wasn''t going to be moved.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed someone outside the door. She said softly, "I''ve already destroyed the USB drive."

Frank pped her across the face. "Who gave you the right to do that?"

"Frank, I really didn''t hurt Noelle! Why won''t you believe me?"

Suddenly, Xenia burst into tears, using him. At that moment, Donovan entered the room and saw Xenia covering her face. "Frank, why did you hit Xenia?"

"Donovan, don''t you know what Xenia has done? A few days ago, Noelle almost had an ident at the bar. She and Samantha teamed up, and she even drugged Noelle!"

Xenia, still sobbing, defended herself, "Donovan, I really didn''t do any of that." "Xenia, how dare you deny it? You were at the bar, and there were witnesses!" "I—I did go to the bar, but Noelle offended Samantha. Ms. Merlock forced her to drink two sses of alcohol. There was no drugging, no kidnapping!"

Frank couldn''t believe his ears. He never imagined Xenia''s acting skills could be so convincing.

Donovan frowned and said, "Frank, how could Xenia do such a thing?" "Donovan, are you implying that Noelle is lying?"

"Noelle has lied to get our attention since she was a child, hasn''t she? Plus, you have no evidence!"

Frank forced a bitter smile. "Who said there''s no evidence? Noelle restored the bar''s surveince footage, and I saw it with my own eyes. How could it be fake?"

Donovan was stunned. "If you say there''s a surveince video, then show it to me."

"After I fainted, the USB drive was taken by Xenia."

"Frank, I didn''t take the USB drive!"
