    Tatiana narrowed her eyes, a twisted sense of satisfaction swelling in her chest as she watched Denzel’s angry expression.


    But when Denzel spoke next, the weight of his words shrouded Tatiana in a fear she’d never felt before.


    Denzel’s gaze was fixed on Tatiana, his voice cool andposed.


    “Miss Fernandez, Global Entertainment was built by all of us here, along with Hector, back in the day. After Hector’s passing, you stepped into his shoes. Perhaps some of the people here are unaware of the full story, but have you, yourself, forgotten? I didn’t want to cause a scene, but since you insist on being troublesome, don’t me me for being blunt.”


    “Denzel, what do you mean by that?” Tatiana felt her unease mounting. Denzel’s words,ced with hidden meaning, gnawed at her, making her feel a sense of dread she couldn’t quite shake.


    The other shareholders exchanged confused nces, their curiosity piqued by the cryptic exchange unfolding between the two.


    Denzel scoffed and rose from his seat, pressing on.


    “Miss Fernandez, you should know better than anyone how Hector died, shouldn’t you? Even if Hector was guilty of something, aren’t you, the one who killed him and seized his fortune, equally guilty? The position of chairman was never yours to im. You’ve held it for far too long; it’s time you faced the consequences.”


    Before Tatiana could retort, the door to the conference room swung open, and several police officers entered, holding up an arrest warrant.


    “Tatiana Fernandez, we’ve received a report that you murdered Hector Lyons. We are here to arrest you, as per thew.”


    “No, I didn’t. You’re wrong!”


    The words hit Tatiana like a thunderp, the revtion of her past sins now spilling into the open.


    As she struggled, Denzel calmly looked at her and delivered his final blow.


    “I’ve already handed over the evidence to the police. Save your excuses for the police station.”


    Tatiana was escorted out, her world crashing down around her. As she was led away, thest thing she saw was Denzel taking the chairman’s seat—he imed what she thought was hers.


    Madisyn was enjoying dinner with Andrew when the news of Tatiana’s arrest reached her ears. She sighed, “We couldn’t find the evidence of Tatiana’s murder back then. I didn’t expect that someone at Global Entertainment would uncover it. I wonder how they did it.”


    Andrew looked up from his meal, cing a peeled shrimp in front of Madisyn, and said with a calm demeanor, “It’s good that justice is being served. Now…”


    “She won’t be able to cause any more harm. Let’s not focus on her. How does this taste?”


    Madisyn, thinking of all that Tatiana had done, nodded in agreement with Andrew’s sentiment.


    The shrimp in front of her looked too tempting to resist. After she took a bite, her eyes lit up, and the thought of Tatiana slipped away.
