?Chapter 1411:

Collier waspletely unfazed by the reprimand. He plopped down beside Lilyana, casually slinging an arm over her shoulder. “Mom, you worry too much. Even if the Klein Group doubled in size, I bet Lilyana could still handle it effortlessly. Running a business is tough, sure, but keeping it sessful is even harder. That’s her specialty. As for me, I’m better suited to building something new. I just heard about a huge projectunching in the southern border. I’m heading over in a few days to check it out. If it looks promising, I’ll seal the deal.”

Madisyn had heard whispers of this project, but now that she and Andrew had started stepping back from the business, they weren’t as involved in the details. Still, she cautioned, “You can go, but be careful. The southern border has always been unpredictable. Neverpromise ethics or legality for the sake of profit.”

Collier nodded. “Rx, Mom. I know what I’m doing.” He barely had time to rest before his phone buzzed again. Momentster, he was out the door, off to yet another meeting.

Watching him leave, Madisyn turned to Lilyana. “For now, let your brother stay in marketing. But if work ever gets too overwhelming, tell me, alright? You can’t push yourself too hard, and you definitely can’t skip meals, understand?”

Lilyana wrapped her arms around her mother, smiling. “I know, Mom. I’ll remember. Work shouldn’t take a toll on my health, meals should always be eaten on time, and if anything bes too much, I’lle to you.”

She counted each point on her fingers yfully. “I’m fine, so you and Dad don’t have to worry about me.”

Seeing her daughter’s attitude, Madisyn felt reassured. Her daughter was still so young, yet she had already proven herself more than capable.

A few dayster, Collier boarded a ne to the southern border, taking his assistant and subordinates with him.

The southern border of Lorpond, long notorious for its instability due to its proximity to neighboring countries, had recently turned into a goldmine for business opportunities. The region’s untapped potential had drawn the keen eyes of many domesticpanies.

Collier, a representative of the Klein Group—Lorpond’s most powerful conglomerate—had his ownwork of connections in the area. Uponnding, he and his subordinates were promptly handed a more detailed project n by the local representative.

“Mr. Klein, this project is being spearheaded by the newly appointed local consul, and our fiercestpetitor is none other than the Odom Group,” the representative exined. “My people have discovered that earlier this morning, Shaw Odom, the young leader of the Odom Group, has already met with the consul.” His voice carried a note of concern as he ryed the information.

Collier arched an eyebrow at this revtion, his youthful face brimming with energy and confidence. “Then set up our meeting with the consul,” he said, unbothered. “Acting first doesn’t always mean winning the prize.”

Collier’s unwaveringposure was infectious, and the representative quickly shed his apprehension.

“I’ll arrange it right away,” he said, now filled with renewed optimism. “Mr. Klein, you and your team must be exhausted from your journey. Allow me to host a weing banquet for you tonight.”

Collier waved a dismissive hand. “No need for that. Sitting on a ne for a few hours isn’t tiring. If the others want to rest, they’re free to do so, but I’d rather take a walk and get a feel for this ce myself.” The representative immediately caught his meaning. “I’ll apany you,” he offered.
