?Chapter 1356:

“Sweetheart, what do you feel like eating?”

“Boiled shrimp, some bread… and a mug of cocoa would be perfect,” Madisyn said.

She had always loved shrimp, but ever since she got pregnant, she couldn’t even stand the smell of it. The sudden craving made Andrew and ine exchange nces—it had to be a good sign.

“Alright,” Andrew said with a small smile. “You talk with ine for a bit. I’ll make everything for you right away.”

Even though Madisyn hadn’t been able to eat muchtely, he had stocked up on ingredients just in case. He quickly got to work, preparing everything with extra care.

Soon, he ced the boiled shrimp, fresh bread, and steaming cocoa in front of her. Carefully, he peeled a shrimp and ced it in her bowl, then watched her expectantly, along with ine.

Madisyn picked up her fork, dipped the shrimp in sauce, and took a bite.

The vor burst on her tongue, fresh and delicious, a stark contrast to the nausea she had felt earlier. “How is it? Do you want more?”

Seeing that Madisyn wasn’t feeling nauseous after eating, Andrew carefully peeled another shrimp for her.

“Thank you, Andrew. I feel fine after eating it. It’s like my appetite suddenly came back!”

At her words, joy filled both Andrew’s and ine’s faces.

ine watched them—Andrew peeling shrimp with care, Madisyn eating happily—and suddenly, she thought back to what Andrew had said to the baby earlier.

pping her hands together, she beamed, delighted by the unexpected turn of events.

“Andrew, I was just thinking—the baby is still too young to understand a word you’re saying. And yet, look at this! Ever since you spoke, Madisyn’s appetite has improved. It’s almost as if the baby is being considerate of her!”

Madisyn had been struggling with nausea ever since her pregnancy began. ine had expected it tost much longer. But now, to everyone’s surprise, Madisyn felt significantly better. She was even eating the same meals she had enjoyed before she became pregnant.

Pausing mid-bite, Madisyn ced a gentle hand on her stomach. Though her belly was still t, she felt an unmistakable sense of warmth, as if the baby was silentlyforting her.

“Thank you, little one,” she whispered, her eyes softening. “Mommy doesn’t feel sick at all now.”

Moved by the realization, she smiled. From that moment forward, the nausea never returned when she ate.

ine stayed for a few more days, wanting to make sure Madisyn’s condition remained stable. Once she was certain her daughter was all right, she crouched down, bringing herself level with Madisyn’s belly. “My sweet grandchild, you’re already so thoughtful,” she murmured. “I can’t wait to meet you.”

Then, standing upright, she said to Madisyn and Andrew, “Now that you’re feeling better, I’ll take my leave. But if anything happens, call me immediately.”

Madisyn understood that ine still had Susan and Sunny to care for, so she didn’t try to persuade her to stay.

“Mom, thank you for everything these past few days,” she said sincerely. “Andrew and I will walk you out.”
