    Ye Fei shook his head with a sigh. "Not much luck. I can searchrge areas pretty quickly, but they''re hiding well, and I''m not trained in tracking. It''ll be tough to locate them on my own."


    Zhang Qiang nodded understandingly, offering a few words of encouragement. "Not your fault—you''re new to the team, and we all know you haven''t had the training we have. It''s normal to miss things. I didn''t expect this mission to be so high-pressure, though. I guess we''ll have to settle for taking out the main forces and let the big fish slip away."


    Seeing Zhang Qiang''s defeated look, Ye Fei couldn''t help butugh.


    "What''s so funny?" Zhang Qiang asked, slightly annoyed. "Don''t you want to take them all down?"


    "Of course I do, and we''ll be able to," Ye Fei said confidently. "I''ll just ask my aunt to go with me tomorrow. With her experience, we should be able to track down their base."


    Zhang Qiang''s face brightened as he realized the simplicity of Ye Fei''s n. "Why didn''t I think of that? Clever thinking, Xiaoman!"


    "It''s not cleverness, justmon sense," Ye Fei joked. "Looks like you''re the one slipping up, Uncle Zhang!"


    Zhang Qiang chuckled, yfully swatting Ye Fei on the shoulder. "Watch it, kid! You''re getting cheeky!"


    But then his expression grew serious. "Speaking of your aunt, she seemed upset after the call from HQ. You should go check on her."


    Ye Fei immediately grew concerned. Thanking Zhang Qiang, he hurried to Liu Junyi''s quarters, determined to confront anyone responsible for making her upset.


    At Liu Junyi''s door, he paused to gather his thoughts before gently knocking and stepping inside without waiting for permission.


    "Xiaoman, you''re back! Any progress?" Liu Junyi greeted him with a smile, though he didn''t miss the hint of worry lingering in her expression.


    Closing the door behind him, Ye Fei walked over and gently wrapped his arms around her. "Who made you upset?"


    Liu Junyi rxed into his embrace, surprised by his question. "It was Staff Officer Zhang from the General Staff. Why?"


    Ye Fei''s expression darkened. "That jerk—he dared speak to you disrespectfully? Just wait until I deal with him!"


    "What nonsense are you thinking?" Liu Junyiughed, both amused and touched by his protectiveness. "I''m a soldier; following orders is my duty, and it''s normal for them to speak firmly. I''m not upset about that."


    Realizing he''d misunderstood, Ye Fei felt a little embarrassed but still persisted. "Then what''s bothering you?"


    Liu Junyi paused, her gaze falling to the floor. Her face flushed slightly, and she didn''t reply, but Ye Fei could sense the source of her concern. With the final missioning up, both would soon return to their previous lives in Wanghai, where they''d once again face theplications of their rtionship.     Ye Fei felt a surge of gratitude and pulled her into a hug. Taking out a handful of "recovery pills," he found an empty bottle in her room and carefully ced them inside, handing it to her. "Take these."


    Liu Junyi examined the tiny, jelly bean-like pills in her palm, curious. "What are they?"


    "These are recovery pills. If you''re tired or injured, just take one, and you''ll feel a lot better almost instantly. No side effects, either," he exined.

    Ye Fei couldn''t help butugh. "You''re getting it all wrong! These are for when we''re in battle. They don''t just help with energy—they heal injuries and restore internal strength too."


    Realizing her mistake, Liu Junyi''s blush deepened. "Oh… I misunderstood," she muttered, embarrassed.


    Ye Feiughed again and, with a mischievous grin, added, "But now that you mention it, you might want to keep a few forter—you can take as many as you need."


    Flustered, Liu Junyi pushed him away, scolding him yfully. "You''re impossible! Go on, you''re on your own!"
