    Most of the Guard Towers were destroyed, but demaster also died in the process.


    Nightwind typed out GG and quit the game.


    That was infuriating!

    The chat was filled with discussion of the game, and many were PMing Nightwind.


    “Nightwind-god, were you ying seriously?”

    It didn’t take long before the S-Dog gang retaliated.

    “That’s just ying against the spirit of the game!”


    “But I feel that Humans are crazy, I didn’t know you could y it like that. I never realised Towers were too strong, I’ll go try it out now.”


    Somewhere still trying to argue while others were investigating the mass tower strategy and trying it out in ranked.


    There were many high skilled yers who found out that this strategy was actually really good!


    Basically, onrger maps, train Archmage first to secure as many mines as possible, then invest that gold into building towers around every mine. Afterwards, skip over mid tier units and go right to Gryphons and Dragonhawks, defeating the opponent by winning the war of attrition.


    This strategy didn’t just work against Orcs, but Night Elves and Undead as well with minimal changes.


    The Human yers were excited to see the rise of the Human race!

    After beating Nightwind’s alt ount, Chen Mo continued queueing. The opponents afterwards were all much worse than Nightwind, steamrolling them without any special strategies.


    He yed until he reached thirty-seven hundred points and couldn’t find any more matches.


    Chen Mo decided to call it as he was tired.


    Although Silent was now offline, the reign of terror never stopped in ranked.


    There was a new wave of tower building strategies that night. Every Human one woulde across would most certainly be using that strategy, and even non-Human mains were also practicing the same strategy.


    The worst thing was that this strategy was used by low and high ranked yers alike!


    The lower ranked yers weren’t mechanically gifted enough, and couldn’t beat demaster and Death Knight. What should they do? Build towers!


    Higher ranked yers were good mechanically, meaning that building towers had more of an advantage. Build towers!


    Who knew how many demasters and Demon Hunters were shot down by Guard Towers that night.


    The other three races were groaning with hatred.

    Su Jinyu was frantically telling Chen Mo, “Manager, it’s not good. There are many yers saying in the forums that Humans’ tower building strategy is too strong, and needs to be nerfed.”


    Qian Kun agreed, “Yeah, manager. It seems a bit strong. Should I reduce some of the HP of Guard Towers? Or maybe build time? Or both?”


    Chen Mo shook his head, “There’s no need to nerf.”


    “But manager, there are many yers who y other races that areining, wouldn’t that affect our sales?” asked Qian Kun


    Chen Mo was speechless, “You’re just worried about the sales?! Don’t worry, it’s fine. I guarantee you that they’ll shut up after three days.”


    Su Jinyu didn’t buy it, “Really? Are you sure, manager?”


    Chen Mo nodded, “Absolutely I’m sure, just ignore them. Oh, actually, they’re feeding me afterall, I’ll give them some attention through Weibo.”


    Chen Mo opened Weibo to discover there were hundreds of tagsst night wanting the Human Guard Towers to be nerfed.


    Chen Mo sent out a Weibo: “The stats for Guard Towers are fine, there will be no nerfs. All the other races have solutions to that strategy, pleaseplete the assignment individually.”


    It didn’t take long before thements rolled in.

    “If you can’t nerf its health, could you at least remove the mini-towers?”


    “Yeah, it’s like a porcupine once it’s built up! It’s not fair!”

    “Take a look at Silent’s match yesterday. They destroyed Nightwind-god just using Towers! How is that fun to watch!”

    The yers were angry, but Chen Mo wasn’t going to budge.
