This was the first time she spoke to me ever since we got here and I flinched in surprise. "W-what? Are you all right? Your voice sounds a bit hoarse."

"What do you remember?" I asked, still clueless as to why she was speaking as if she lost someone important in her life. Was she crying? Was she bawling her eyes out while we watched the heart-rending story about Yang Zi? Well, if it were me, I would''ve cried as well. The only reason why I didn''t was that I was distracted by the amount of power output behind that intense explosion. I was left speechless.
