Darian''s brows locked together, and somethingplicated flickered in his eyes.
Rnd, the n Chief of the Sky Dragon Lineage, had once been his sworn rival in the fight for suprememand of the Draconians.
Darian had always believed Rnd died long ago. He hadn''t expected the man to still be alive, much less to choose this moment to lead the Sky Dragon n back
into the open.
"Chieftain, this is a perfect chance!"
One Elder stepped forward, unable to hide his excitement. "Since Rnd hase out, we can take this chance to kill our way over there and wipe them out in one stroke!''
Those leftover wretches from the Sky Dragon Lineage hid for so many years, and now they''ve finally shown themselves. This is a gift from heaven!"
"Yeah! Chieftain, let us send the troops! Kill everyst one of them!"
"Those Sky Dragon n bastards hid for all these years. It''s time to settle the score once and for all!"
At once, the hall turned into an uproar. Several elders all started asking for battle, their eyes shining with naked killing intent.
They had thrown in with the demon race. If there had been no orthodox Sky Dragon n left topare them against, then they would have been the orthodox Draconians.
But now they were being called Demon Dragons, and to them, that was a humiliation.
That was why every one of them wanted to wipe out Rnd and the rest of the dragon n as fast as possible. Once that was done, the entire Fourteenth Firmament would have only their branch of dragons left.
And in that moment, they would be the orthodox line.
Darian said nothing.
He slowly sat back down on the main seat. His fingers tapped lightly against the armrest, and his gaze darkened with thought.
A momentter, he lifted his head and looked at the elder in charge of intelligence. "You said the Sky Dragon n moved into Cloudhaven City. Before this, whose territory was that city?"
The elder hurriedly answered, "Reporting to the Chieftain, Cloudhaven City originally belonged to the Celestial Pce. But the Celestial Pce''s control there was weak, so House Wagner and the Janis Family managed it together."

He turned and looked at them all.
"Because of Jared. That young man carries the Dragon Sovereign

Bloodline. Since Rnd was willing to bring the Sky Dragon p out and station them in Cloudhaven City, that means he has already acknowledged Jared''s identity. In other words, Jared truly possesses the Dragon Sovereign Bloodline."
The expressions of the assembled elders changed on the spot.
Darian went on, "Why did the Celestial Pcee to us for cooperation? Because they had no way to deal with Jared. A tiny cultivator at High Immortal Realm Level Three has thempletely helpless. Do you really think that''s normal?"

"If we rush in blindly, we''ll only walk straight into their trap. And besides, the Celestial Pce is still watching from the side, waiting for us and the Draconians to tear each other apart."
He turned away and looked up at the dim, gray sky outside. His tone sank even heavier.
"That Jared.., he destroyed three Sacred Mountains of the Celestial Pce and killed three True Immortal eldera. Strength like that, herve like that, that is no ordinary man. If he can make Rnd bow his head and bring the Sky Dragon n out into the open, then he truly has something extraordinary about him."
"What we need right now is patience."
The elders fell silent. The unwillingness still sat on their faces, but they also understood that their Chieftain was right.
